Title: My home Aerodrome
Post by: Zabu on July 10, 2013, 06:24:50 AM
This is my first diorama so far.

It's 115 X 60 cm.
It's not finished yet cause i have a few adds to it like a Huck Starter (slowly coming together from an RPM M.M.G.S. Ford T), an ww1 german refueling set and fire pump, a Drachen baloon and... well what i see that might fit in that 1/72 scale.

For now it's all about na Hanger, trees, bushes, foliage and wood spread around.
As vehicles i got a Crossley Tender and a  Ford T ambulance to go along some Orion figures.

Very nice! How did you go about building the hangar?

Very nice, very atmospheric.  Reminiscent of Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome.  That hanger is magnificent.
Cheers,
Bud

Many thanks guys.  :)

@IanB
The hanger came as an idea, but then i couldn't let go so i went for it!
I tried to explain how i did it in other thread.

I will be here for any help that i can provide if anyone tries to build one.
One thing i can tell... it was quite fun to build it!

Cheers

This is a very nice way of showing models. I like it much more than my classical showcases. Unfortunately I do not have enough room in the living room for such a diorama...
