Title: WNW Se5A
Post by: Graham t on July 01, 2013, 12:01:24 AM
Just finished.  OOB with Eezeeline rigging & RB tubuler turnbuckles.  Painted with Misterkit PC10 & Xtracolour CDL.  I really don't get on with the cowlings on WNW kits as with the four or five built to date, I can never get them to fit round the completed & installed engine.  I'm sure it's me but annoying none the less!

It looks really good! So have you tried thinning down the cowling a little bit?
What paint have you used for the PC10 (if it is the colour that you supposed to paint it)?

Very nicely done Graham, the overall finish, rigging and decal application is excellent, the stripes on the struts really stand out and look extra good, well done Graham.

Des.

What a great job, Graham!  Super job with the rigging
and the over-all paint scheme is really appealing.  Thanks
for sharing with us.

Best Regards,
Ernie

Looks a great SE5a model, Graham -

I like the grass on the display stand too.  Is this an 'off the shelf' product?  If so, where did you get hold it from?

Regards

Dave

The general look of the model it's amazing, and the struts are very nice.

Great build. Congrats.

Hello Graham:

Very nicely done.  This is a difficult kit to build and to rig.  I know what you mean about the cowling a bit fiddly.  I like this scheme especially with the striped struts.

Best

Mark
