Hello,
It was really nice finding this website and forum. I have been a model railroader for many years but have just recently decided to build some airplanes. WW1 is especially appealing as the aircraft are exquisite and my dad fought in that war. His brother was killed in July, 1918 at Saint Mihiel. Just reading through a couple of the builds I have already learned a great deal. Looking forward to more...
Pleasure to be here.

Welcome Bob, I'm sure those many years of Model Railroading will make the transition to vintage aircraft almost seamless. Looking forward to your contributions.

Funny thing... i'm a railway man (railway traffic controler), but just build aircraft models... ww1 as preference!

Welcome aboard Bob,
I'm not familiar with any trains that had rigging, but other than that, it's all modelling! Looking forward to seeing some of your work....
