PrzemoL, I am totally in agreement with Bud. You have given us
an excellent example of the modeller's art.
Cheers,
Ernie

Absolutely beautiful, you are a true craftsman and your skills shine through with these models, hard to believe that they are 1:72 scale. Congratulations on a job very well done.

Congratulations Przemol, this would be world class model in 1/32nd scale; it's mind-blowing what you have achieved in 1/72nd.
An absolute jewel. Way to go!
-
wonderful!
to me closing a work has always a sort of sadness... hope it's not the same for you! anyway, the cure it's start another project!
so... what are you thinking at? ;)

A thing of beauty and a joy to behold!! Love the group shot too!!!

Thank you, everybody for your kind words. I am overly flattered by your opinions on my models. I happen to know a couple of modellers who achieve much more in 72nd scale, my models are laughable when compared to those. Probably the best one is Andrzej Ziober, who does marvels in plastic. mc65, it is already decided, WNW Triplane already sits on my desk.

What a beauty! And to think you accomplish such results in 1:72 scale. Simply superb.

I love it Przemek - swietna robota!

Gorgeous model with stunning detail. It's a pity that so much is hidden inside. Along the way you have pointed out Part PE to me, who produce really interesting PE.
Can't wait to see your Sopwith triplane.
regards,
Ivo

Nicely done Przemol.
The detail and general look it's just awesome.
-
Beautifully executed Albatros.
Congratulations.
-
Thank you, everybody. I am glad you like my little Albie.
Ivo, I have started cleaning up the cockpit elements for Triplane. The photos will come when I have something painted.
-
Lovely, among the best Albatros models I have seen.
-
I still cannot get over this being 72nd scale - your detailing is amazing!

Dave

Thank you very much, Rob and Dave. You are very kind!
-
That is NEAT, and 1/72 too . . . . 8) Awesome

Thank you, Dave. I am glad you like it, too. 8)

Incredible build, Przemol. I'm still trying to wrap my head around 1:72 PE. That just doesn't compute.

Having followed your build from the start I must say that it is incredibly detailed and painted! Beautiful!

Thank you, Lindsay and Rick! Very much appreciated.

PrzemoL, Ypur beautiful little Albatros looks right at home
with the d.VII and the Pfalz. Wonderful models.
One question, when you are painting over the crosses
on the side, do you use anything out of the ordinary, or is
it normal paint? Is it thinned more than usual? Thanks
for your help.
Cheers,
Ernie :)

Thanks Ernie for your kind words and the interest in my models. The blue overpaint in this case is a mix of Pactra French Blue and Clear Gloss, more or less 1:3 proportion. I prefer several thin coats to better control the degree of overspray, just like in the case of postshading.
