Very nice finish Sean.
What paint colour did you use for the over wing fuel tank? (Colour/make).
Best Regards
Keith

Thanks People! :D Keith The colors I used were Humbrol Enamels Flat white #120 matt greenall I did was add a drop of the green to the white to tint the color. I know the color doesn't look correct but I'm happy with it.

Thanks for the info Sean, I wasn't worried about the authenticity of the colour, it just thought it looked like an interesting shade, one I'd like to try and replicate.
I'm looking forward to seeing your next build.
Best Regards
Keith

Thankyou all.
Dean I'm glad to give you a boost along mate, get stuck into it. The model really was very easy to construct and rig. The only thing I've found hard to cope with is the size of the model . It was very difficult to move around on the work bench and because of the sheer length of the wing span there is alot of slop in the wings. You really do need to have a large space to display the finished model, luckly mine will be displayed at the Local RSL here in Mildura.
Dave The model does require alot of patience to build because of the amount of parts but if you take your time with it and study the Instructions very carefully it goes together very nicely. I did find however that every part that requires a locating pin to join it needed to be drilled slightly oversize to get a perfect fit. I think this has been a thing with wingnut kits from the start but not an issue to me.

Thanks Keith Yeah the truth is I really was a bit concerned with the color but I went with it in the end. I made the mistake of gluing the tank to the wing, the more I look at it the more used to it I get! ;D
Mate I've had a good look at some of your work and I have to say your one of the guys here that I could really learn from your work is outstanding! But don't get a big head will you!! ;)

Bud Yes "Mr Hyperscale" Brett Green spoke to me on the Satarday Morning of the show. He was very Impressed with the model and asked me several questions !
KrzysiekK I worked on and off the model for several months taking my time. The build was very straight forward with the rigging obviously being the hardest or most time consuming. The only hing I still struggle with is finding somewhere to display it now it's finished but I knew that before I started it , but I just had to build it!
Des Would have been nice to have meet you over the weekend I heard you live in Nowra and more than likely would have been in for the Airshow.

no I didn't was to busy chatting with everyone. Went to hars on satarday
because my mate knows one of the guys there .
He showed us through the workshop. We watched the cat and Connie and avenger
do low flying curcuits over the model show in my opinion it was just as
good as being at the airshow!
