Title: Inpact Bristol Boxkite
Post by: NP on April 23, 2013, 09:16:51 PM
Hi,

I have acquired one of these kits but sans any instructions sheet.

I daresay I should be able to figure out what goes where (i'm not a collector, I plan on making this plane next) but wonder if someone who has this might be able to help with a copy or scan here?

cheers

I've got the Life-Like boxing. I can scan them and email it to you.

Thanks Sean, good of you, I've sent you a message.

There are some parts detatched from the sprues and preliminary inspection shows at least one part is missing (top right aeleron), good job I don't mind having a go at scratching bits and pieces (and this is quite a simple construction anyway).  I started on making a new aeleron last night, which is going ok, although since the wings have a moulded representation of fabric (which is actually quite nice) it'll be tricky to try to duplicate that on the replacement part I've made up.

I'll have a go at this when I've finished my Ansaldo, might put up a few pictures of the Boxkite in the "pre-1914" section, if it goes well.
