this is what i am planning on being my next project
(http://i1049.photobucket.com/albums/s383/bullgill67/DSCF3557_zps9ecb1276.jpg) (http://s1049.photobucket.com/user/bullgill67/media/DSCF3557_zps9ecb1276.jpg.html)
hopefully i can get it to look something like this .....
(http://i1049.photobucket.com/albums/s383/bullgill67/DSCF3559_zpsaa9813ba.jpg) (http://s1049.photobucket.com/user/bullgill67/media/DSCF3559_zpsaa9813ba.jpg.html)

using the pheon decal set.
I seen it and the first thing that crossed my mind was that it looked like a ferrari :)
It may be a while till i actually get started as i am collecting paints and so on before i start.
what i am thinking of doing is having a go with some Gaspatch turnbuckles, so would i be right in thinking it's the TB 01 type i need for a Pflaz?
many thanks
Michael

Michael, I neglected to mention how much I like your wood effects in
the cockpit. How did you come up with that look? The cockpit as a whole
is looking first rate!
Cheers,
Ernie :)
-
once again many thanks for the kind words guys i'm blown away by them :)
Steve for the metal tones i have been using mr. metal colours all the rest are tamiya.
Ernie, the wood look is the basic look described on here loads of times - it's where i learned it ;)
basically i paint the part in a buff colour e.g tamiya deck tan - leave to dry, then brush over some burnt umber oil paint then get a fairly stiff brush and run it over the oil paint to create the wood grain effect. then leave to dry which can be the worst part as it takes ages ;D
hope that helps you Ernie
cheers

Perfect, thanks Michael!
Cheers,
Ernie :)
