Title: Rumpler C.IV early and late
Post by: rhwinter on April 12, 2013, 04:20:31 AM
Hi all,
I'd like to learn something about the difference(-s) between the two Rumpler C.IV's offered by WNW as "early" and "late". Is there any short reading on the www. you can recommend? Or is purchasing and studying Ray Rimell's "Rumpler C.IV at War" the only way to go? (It surely is the best way, I know...)
Thanks in advance!
Richard

Sometimes having a look at the colourscheme pics on the WNW site helps - I think these two variants have different prop spinner/nose assemblies if memory serves.  Not sure about other differences.

Thank you, Ian, but actually I meant the differences besides the nose, which - you are right - is quite an obvious difference...
