Title: under wing edging
Post by: Burbankbill on April 27, 2012, 10:42:57 PM
Hello;
I am building the WNWs Sopwith Pup and am wondering the width of the under wing edging is.(where the OD green overlaps the underside of the wing).

I can just see some judge trying to check for this in competition!  :o

  LOL But you know some IMPS judge likely would do just that. :-X   Of coarse this is right after he breaks out the FS Color fan to argue your choice of a certain shade of PC 10. But no I'm not bitter. ;)

  Steve,
LOL great come back my friend. Actually that "I'm not bitter" was a tongue in cheek comment ,but the other remarks certainly do illustrate how a few IPMS judges behave. How else would they earn those niffty nicknames such as Color Nazi's.

Not that I enter too much any more but I used to think the same thing. Then one day I figured "Well I came to play the game with your rules so I will just suck it up" If the judge knows what he is actually talking about...........
