Title: Oops
Post by: lawman56 on April 03, 2013, 09:38:59 PM
In my post about weathering a plaster base, I made mention of how important research is. Well guess who didn't research well enough?  ::)

That's right. Me. I realized after I looked at my reference pics again, the reason I was having issues with my aftermarket for my Albatros engine, was because I ordered parts for a Mercedes DIIIa. My engine is a Mercedes DIII. So I ordered the correct timing gear aftermarket and while I wait, might as well pull the wrong stuff off and prep it for the correct stuff.

My eyeballs are very mad at me right now.  :o

Once again, more error and less trial.  :)

Welcome to the club, I think we have all done this a one time or another.

Cheers

Pete.

The only difference between your "Ooops" and several of mine is that you caught it in time, and that's significant!

''oops'' is a word I use quite often when building my models, and as I get older I seem to be using it a lot more frequently, maybe with a few other words tossed in as well  ;) ;)
