Hallo fellows,
I know most of you are fond of 1/32 models, I also know I am cursing my DH2 in a 72nd scale... but I saw this kit:
announced a few weeks ago on Aeroscale by Rowan...
http://aeroscale.kitmaker.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=SquawkBox&file=index&req=viewtopic&topic_id=203490 (http://aeroscale.kitmaker.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=SquawkBox&file=index&req=viewtopic&topic_id=203490)
Any idea of the box contents and the quality of the kit?
Ciao
Antonio

Shouldn't be a problem finding a place to exhibit it ! ;)

Jeez, I'd need at least 20x magfiication for this one. Hope to see a build up on this tiny tiny kit.

Antonio, how close are you to the Large Hadron Collider? I think the Higgs Boson is about the size of a 1:144 Pup, so if you can run up there for the weekend they may be able to help you out with some of the fiddly bits.

Does this help?

Vaclav from Valom models has informed me that the next 1:144 scale kit to be released will be the Fokker D.VIIb, he said there will be some improvements especially assembly of the wings. Maybe this will be the start of a collection of WW1 planes in this small scale.

I knew about the DVII, should be out around May / June if I'm not wrong
I wonder how would the lozenge decals be in that scale...
BTW is anybody out there wishing to get rid of an electronic microscope????

:o This thing is TINY! I want to see how you are going to rig that Pup :P
EDIT: typo

I don't even know if I'll buy it, about rigging... :o

Great Des,
I look forward to reading it!
I think I'll buy both the Pup and the DVII together, any plans for future releases as far as you know?
-
Apart from the Fokker I don't know of any further releases, I presume they will wait to see what sort of response they get from the two kits before they invest into making any more.

I'm not sure about that. After all, it's a "Dual Combo" which means you'll have to find space for TWO of them!
;D

Would look good flying around a big ol' balloon!! :P

Although the DVII was due in June 2013 and it doesn't seem to be in the shops yet Valom has announced three upcoming kits in 1/144:
- RAF SE5A
- Nieuport 17
- Albatros D.V
(source their website)
Interesting indeed!

Wow! Those are very nicely detailed for 1/144 scale. Comes with a seat and an instrument panel. Cute. I might have to get 'em.
Cheers,
