Title: up grade Mercedes DIIIa kit Roden
Post by: gsxf65 on July 13, 2026, 06:01:53 PM
Hello,
I have a Roden 1/32 Albatros DIII (oaw) kit and would like to upgrade the Mercedes DIII engine to the one from the Taurus kit.
Is this upgrade possible?
I sent them an email three weeks ago, but I haven't received a response yet.
Thanks.

i believe Taurus is located in Poland, so perhaps there are communication challenges affecting their business model.

from the website:  "Please be advised that direct purchases of Taurus Models products through the website www.taurusmodels.pl are currently not available. However, a wide range of our products is available from the well-established model shop BNA ModelWorld. We kindly invite all interested customers to visit: https://www.bnamodelworld.com/ Thank you for your interest in Taurus Models and for your understanding."

and they might be in the drone business for the foreseeable future.

AFAIK Taurus is no longer in production. Gothaforce bought up some of their stock but the Mercedes timing gear enhancements are all sold out. BNA Modelworld (based in Austraila) lists a lot of their products but it appears mpst of the Mercedes enhancements are out of stock.
