Title: Snoopy and his Sopwith Camel
Post by: Tim Mixon on April 11, 2026, 09:09:34 PM
Several months ago I built the Revell Fokker Funfdecker as a break from more serious WWI builds.

I?ve been wanting to make a foe for my villain but not willing to pay the ridiculous amount for the Lucky Pierre kit.

I decided on spicing up this Atlantis Snoopy model with a few scratch built add ons and parts from the Revell 1/28 Camel kit.

The scheme I chose was from a pilot that served in the RNAS 201 squadron B flight. I cannot recall the pilots name at this time. I like the markings and it?s the only one I found with an S on the fuselage.

I re-shaped Snoopy?s arm to simulate shaking his paw instead of a thumbs up.

Here?s his doghouse stand included with the plane.

And the two foes meet somewhere over France.

Sorry for the crappy quality pictures. I was in a hurry.

Thanks for looking in!
