Both are very nice indeed, you really have a style of weathering that I think looks just right without being overdone. Excellent paint jobs on both. And you clearly don't sleep..... ;)

ANOTHER couple of builds :o
Great to see and lovely finish on both

Got to agree with Nigel and Paul - two more super builds and finishes.

Both are fine models. Congratulations

Beautiful job on the Ki-61 and the 262 turned out exceptionally well , out standing Rick !

Thanks for the very kind comments as always! I found out that Tamiya had got the color of the stripes and upper wing stenciling wrong. So I went back and corrected the incorrect markings! Blue lengthwise fuselage stripes were in the kit as decals. The band on the rear fuselage was painted!

That's courageous! I would have just lived with it, but it looks like the correction worked out fine.

Nice looking Tony, Rick. I always liked the shape of that fighter.

Lovely work on these two Rick!
A question - I have the Academy 262 in the stash and am thinking about tackling it as my next project - do you have any build tips or things to watch out for with that one?
