Title: Sopwith Snipe Late WnW
Post by: Ssasho0 on February 09, 2026, 01:12:19 AM
Hello everyone,

this is a late version Sopwith Snipe E6544, 17th Sqn, Hawkinge, 1924 built some time ago but I never actually took or posted any photos anywhere. This is one of the only two 1/32 biplanes I built in the last couple of years. It is more or less OOB, outside of the Aviattic silver decals I used for the fuselage.
I was cleaning the dust in my cabinet this morning and decided to snap some photos to get some more mojo back :)
As always, constructive criticism and feedback is appreciated :)
Sasho

Looks really good to me. Wish someone would purchase the WNW molds some day.

Very nicely done indeed, hopefully this will help get your mojo back. It looks like this suffered slightly from the poor quality decals that plagued a lot of the later WNW kits. I'd be tempted to just touch in areas where this shows (like on the top right aileron, a bit of blue paint would fix that).
