Hey all!
Some months ago I was in a bit of a funk and did a mojo build resulting in this 'model' It's inspired by some Aifix kits done in the same style that I'm sure many of you have seen.
I completed it in 8 hours across a weekend (an actual weekend build for once!) and was a popular conversation piece at my local model show last september.
It's not the best, cleanest or most historically accurate thing I've done, but it was a nice bit of relatively instant gratification.

That's a pretty cool idea Max. I love it!

It's not the [...] cleanest
That first photo's so clean I thought it was a 3D render!! Wow! I'm a fan of this style and am contemplating one of my own if I can find a particular kit. Lovely work!

I've seen a few of these at shows and I think they are a very fun way of displaying a model. I may have seen these before, but this is the only WWI subject I have seen, so I think you have done a great job in publicising WWI! Very nicely done and a great display piece.

Great display idea especially when framed up 8)

I have not seen one of these before - what a good idea! I must suggest it to a member of our club who might like the idea.

That?s a neat idea. Just package it up in a blister pack and it?s ready to market.

What a great, novel idea. I've never seen it done before. (FWIW, I have contemplated doing something similar for 1/72nd WWII bombers, just putting the fuselage halves in a frame since there are so many I love, but display space is at a premium.)
