Hello everyone,
Is there a model builder named Dave Hooper on this forum?
I found his beautiful Albatros D.Va from Jasta 23b (flew by Michael Hutterer) on the WingnutWings website in the ?Customer Models? section.
I am looking for the M?nchner Kindl (the painted figure with a beer mug and radish in his hands) as a decal in 1/32 scale.
Perhaps someone can help me locate Dave Hooper, so that I can get in touch with him.
That would be great.
Best regards,
Bertl

I have a Munich Child in 1/32 from the Halberstadt Cl.II kit. I don't know if it fits the size.
If you want I can send it to you (from Greece).

I was having a drink with Dave Hooper in the pub last night ;D He is a good friend of mine. I know he created the artwork for the Munchner Kindl himself, I will ask him if he can either print a decal for you or let you have the artwork so you can print one yourself (I am not sure what format it is in).

Hello Spyros,
Thank you very much for the tip about Dave Hooper!!
Thank you also for the offer regarding the Halberstadt CL.II M?nchner Kindl.
Unfortunately, however, the design and size are not suitable.
Thank you very much again.

Hi Nigel,
What a funny coincidence.
I hope you left the pub reasonably sober ;D
Yes, please, it would be really cool if he could print the Muenchner Kindl twice (once for each side of the fuselage - or better four times, two as a backup if necessary).
Of course, I'd pay for it, no question.
Unfortunately, I don't know anyone who could print the decals with the print data.

We did, as we were both driving. I left sober thanks to a wonderful invention called Guinness 0%. It's the first 0% beer I have tried which tastes great. Mind you, you have to like Guinness in the first place....
Dave is checking to see if he has any spares. He didn't print the decals himself, so if he doesn't have any spares maybe we can find someone on here who could print them from the artwork.....?
I will keep you posted.

0% beer does not make you happy 8)
Here in Bavaria, the old-timers claim that non-alcoholic beer tastes like dishwater :P
Well, they were probably born with a liter beer mug in their hands ::)
Joking aside, it would be great if the decals worked out!
Thank you again for contacting Dave Hooper about my request.
