Title: WNW site?
Post by: Pup7309 on July 26, 2025, 06:17:30 PM
Noticed the WNW site has ?503? message temporarily unavailable
Wonder if it is my phone, an upgrade or gone for good?

Same here on PC.
But this has happened before and the site came back up online.
Just have to wait and see I guess,

Mike

I'm also getting the 503 error. It has happened before.
There's actually a huge compressed file floating around online that contains the entire WnW website content, including archive photos, assembly instructions, errata PDFs, and kit images. It?s worth grabbing if you can find it - could be a very useful reference if things get worse.

Yes, I have the site fully backed up (4 GiGabytes)  ;)

The site is loading for me, so perhaps the issue has been resolved?

A 503 error, also known as "Service Unavailable," indicates that a web server is temporarily unable to handle a request, usually due to overload or maintenance.
It's a server-side issue, meaning the problem lies with the website's server, not the user's device or internet connection.

I typed Wingnut Wings into Google and clicked on the model kitsets link. Took me there without any trouble.
While I was there I downloaded the W.29 instructions, as I haven't a clue where they have been hidden!

All good.

online now, but a reminder that it most likely won't be around forever. It's a treasure trove -- especially the archive photos, so nice to know there are clones floating around. I myself have mined all the Albatros stuff, but there is so much there.

Hi all,
I have it all backed up if the site goes offline for good.
