My newest completion - a small Albatros D.V - the mount of the commander of Jasta 5 - Ltn Richard Flaschar, who flew it in early 1918.
The well known Eduard kit was enhanced with PE Part bits including the full interior truss and many metal fittings on the fuselage, Roden Mercedes engine from the spare box - significantly amended with several scratch built installations, the propeller was carved from thin veneer. Control lines and rigging from Uschi elastic.
I hope you like it ;)

This is beautiful, Prze. I'm so grateful you shared the build process: you've inspired me to dig out my 1/48th Eduard Albi. What a beauty.

Hi!
Hard to believe that this is in 1/72 scale?.fantastic work and you really have achieved the feeling of correct scalet thicknesses. And one of my favourite Albatros colourschemes as well!

What a gorgeous little jewel of a model. Amazing detail and considering your effort on the interior & propeller it's probably the best 1/48 Albatros I've seen built. Well done indeed, Prze.

That is a real gem of a model. As has been commented, the engine detail is staggering given that this is God's Own Scale. Outstanding build.

The detail around the engine and cockpit is amazing. I would not have said it was 1/72 if you hadn?t told us!

The final galleries are made using the oldie camera Olympus E-520. For the photos of the build progress I am too lazy to set it up, I shot those using my mobile phone camera, I have a Motorola G55 5G.
