Title: Albatros D.V - Jasta 5 - Flaschar (Eduard, 1/72)
Post by: PrzemoL on July 02, 2025, 08:01:16 AM: My newest completion - a small Albatros D.V - the mount of the commander of Jasta 5 - Ltn Richard Flaschar, who flew it in early 1918.

The well known Eduard kit was enhanced with PE Part bits including the full interior truss and many metal fittings on the fuselage, Roden Mercedes engine from the spare box - significantly amended with several scratch built installations, the propeller was carved from thin veneer. Control lines and rigging from Uschi elastic.

The final galleries are made using the oldie camera Olympus E-520. For the photos of the build progress I am too lazy to set it up, I shot those using my mobile phone camera, I have a Motorola G55 5G.
