Just finished this one. Roden's excellent SE5a kit with details including the rigging (photoetch) from SBS. Really impressed with both the kit which went together with no issues and the SBS rigging and details set which is relatively easy to fit - and I think looks good - especially the tricky double wires! I'm not sure if SBS (or any one else) make any other photoetch rigging but I'd definately give them a try if they do.Finished using AK air PC 10 and vallejo paints for the canvas.

and a final one...

Very nice job indeed. That rigging does indeed look very effective, I wasn't aware that SBS did some sets in both 1/48 and 1/72. AIMS do some sets in 1/32, I have theirs for the Camel and Pup. However, I haven't used them because they are very easily bent if you move the model. However, this may be less likely in 1/72 as the model is smaller and less chance of the wings flexing.....

Your small Roden SE5a model looks great, Will

Yep that looks very good from here. I am surprised that the rigging is PE - but it certainly looks effective on that model.

Hi Will,
Now that just goes to prove that Roden models can be up there with the best.
Lovely model, especially given the use of photo-etch rigging,
Mike

Amazing work! I too love the Roden Se5a in its different variations. You have made an excellent representation of the classic fighter

Amazing work indeed. Congratulations, this Roden kit is by no means easy.

Will - that looks excellent. The classic look of the S.E.5a captured so well in such a small scale.
Cheers,
Gary
