I have finally finished the base for my Nieuport XI. The figure is a Kellerkind resin figure.

That's a nice looking build! I'm curious about the Kellerkind figure...is the head a separate piece?

Very nice presentation of the finished model Andreas. I think it's worth the extra effort to display models like this.

Thank you so much Gary and Brad.

I tried to simulate  some wear on the cowling by carefully sanding some spots before painting with gloss black. The metallic shine is good old Alclad II (glossy Aluminium I think) over that base.

Two superb models as always. The vignettes turn these models into something rather special - the figures add real points of interest.

The finish on both models is excellent - as Brad has commented, the cowling is especially effective.

Very nice little Nieuports.
The Cowling looks excellent in the pictures - looks extremely convincing polished and slightly scratched aluminum.
