Hi everyone!
Following on from the good experience with the Lanchester. I opened a week ago a new Copper state model box with this Belgian machine gun car.
It's the same simple design that doesn't sacrifice much in the way of details. On the other hand, the vehicle without a roof and the presence of the engine in the kit is more time-consuming, with a little detailing of the latter in order to present the bonnet open.
Similarly, I had to change my assembly/painting method with the interior being coloured before the body was fitted for obvious reasons of access to all the nooks and crannies.

Once the body is in place and a black/grey/brown basing is applied, the idea is to have a base that will ?liven up? the monochrome grey livery of the vehicle:

Hello !
So here's what's next
I'm still enjoying myself as much as ever and I've even got my SLR out to do some pics worthy of these lovely kits, so here's where I was on Sunday evening.

I've got a few details to add, a bit of scratchbuilding to do and then I'll be able to start work on the figure that will accompany this vehicle.
See you

Beautiful work Fabrice. I really like your weathering, the vehicle looks used and dusty without being covered in chipping and rust. Lovely stuff.

Yo !
I'm continuing with the missing details (bonnet brackets, various cables) and the scratchbuilt driver's side visor that got away in hyperspace... I took the opportunity to tinker with the fastening system based on what was done on other vehicles at the time

We're nearing the end, all that's missing is the fig

Hi !
thank you for your comments, it's motivating
Taking advantage of a sleepless night, I added the final touches of paint, a few cans to "wake things up" and connected the cables.
