Hello All,
Here is my latest paper model. A really pretty Nieuport 11!
Lots of little additions like the gun cable, fixed the prop and aileron bellcranks. I also added some airbrushing to make it look a bit more "used" and some "see through" on the fuselage structure. Splatters were added in several places too since I figure if these were light or clear doped, the caster oil and mud on the field would have left a few marks. I ended up using the kit prop but I beefed up where the blades mate to the hub with putty so they don't look like they are just paper. Now they look more like an air screw with a helix component. I love the Lewis gun too. All in all, a really pleasing build.
Thanks for looking!

There's no way you would think that is paper, it's just done so well!

Lovely job, that turned out really well. I like the weathering and the overall finish. It's hard to believe it's a paper model!

Beautiful, Dan!

Well done, Dan. Another bit of paper magic from your bench.

Gorgeous work Dan! As others have said, folks would be hard-pressed to see this was a card model at first glance.

Your paper models look better than many injection moilded/resin kits that I see built! Are you sure that this is paper/card?
Outstanding example of the use of this medium to make superb models.

I apologize for ignoring the Paper Model section lately. I will make up for that soon! Your Model is stunning as always and I look forward to catching up on your builds!!

Well...the support from you guys is overwhelming. I do appreciate it! Paper is such fun to build with and these WWI types are just made for it.
More soon. Perhaps a Halberstadt or old LVG...
I'd love to find a nice model of a Nieuport 28, though!
