Hello everyone,
I haven't posted much over the last 12 months due to life getting in the way.

This kit was started in the summer of 2023, however I never
got around to posting any progress pics. Now with all the excitement generated by the Copper State Nieuport 11 release, I can join the fest
with my Special Hobby kit. I did pre-order the Copper State kits but I can't let this one sit and collect dust.
Here are the photos I took when I was last working on it:

The last photo was taken on January 27 of last year so I will get back to work while enjoying the Copper State buzz going on.
Wish me luck,
Kevin

I am sure you will do the S.H. kit justice. Best of luck Kevin. I will look forward to seeing it being built.

Oh wow, this is going to be great. I'm afraid my SH Nieuport was relegated to parts bin/test mule status when CSM announced theirs. Lovely start.

Oh yes, that is a nice job on the SH Nieuport!
I have build one some years ago and I remember me having great fun with it. I only did not like the resin engine, its cylinders are way out of shape. What do you think?
I am keen on following your progress.

Beautiful interior work and construction! I don't have this kit anymore but will find your build inspiring for the CSM kit!

Thanks Borsos, I've found your build to be very helpful. I agree with you about the resin engine.
That's where my stash of Wingnut Wings engine sprues have come to the rescue.

Now that Copper State has a beautiful La Rhone 9C, I don't feel any regret using the Wingnut's version.
I'm now at the point of choosing a scheme and getting the painting process started.
Happy Modeling,
Kevin

Looks amazing, Kevin. It looks just like my paper Nieuport...though yours is much cooler. Love the engine too.
