This is my first post here!!!
I have been suggested to use Flickr to host the photos to share here, and as it usually happens I found that I already opened an account years ago!
this is one of my first venture into WWI modelling, realized in 2018: as I could remember, it was not a "shake and bake" kit but at the time was the best option in my preferred scale, and I really wanted to have that gorgeous stripy thing in my display cabinet!!!
Thanks for watching, more to follow!!!
Ciao
Andrea

Well that's a beauty ;D
Roden certainly aren't shake and bake kits and this one is a bit of an eye catcher that's been very well put together and painted - congratulations (and welcome on board)

Wow, you did a great job on this. The kit requires a bit of work and you've made a great job of it. The colour scheme looks amazing, very impressive work.
-
Great! I especially admire the quality of airbrushing - in this scale! Perfect masking! And the fat that it is the notoriously poor-quality Roden D.VII makes my admiration even larger.
-
That is a great job on a difficult model with a difficult paint scheme.
-
Very nice!
-
That?s a fantastic paint scheme, really well done.
-
Amazing work Andrea - what a first post, magnificent!
I remember seeing this somewhere else and saving the photographs for future inspiration. Having built the Roden D.VII also I can say that this truly is a work of art, well done!
Please do show us more of your work!
Cheers,

That is stunning work in any scale! I admire your talent. This is one I would have done had WNW not gone Belly Up!

Thanks a lot Brad! I think you have seen it on Hyperscale with a few of my other WWI models...

Gobsmackingly wonderful! That paint job, AND it's the 1/72nd Roden kit to boot. Wow.

That is truly stunning - especially that it is in God's Own Scale. A masterpiece of painting.
