Title: 1/32 Roland D.VI Wingnut Wings
Post by: PM models on January 07, 2025, 08:38:53 AM
Beautiful kit. Easy to build, more difficult to paint. The wood is painted with oil paints. Each plank separately. The markings on the hull are airbrushed. The construction took several months, due to the need to dry the oil paints before painting. Before painting, the surface of the hull was sprayed with orange clear paint. The construction process is in the photos. I hope you like it.

Very nicely built!
The Roland looks very impressive and convincing with its wooden fuselage.
The rest of the painting also looks very good.
I like the jagged start and end pieces of the individual panels - just like the original. Bravo!
It was certainly a challenge to cut the masks to size.
