Lovely model, Sergio. Welcome to the addiction!
I'm a great admirer of the Roden Albatros series. I think they are better in places than the WNW D.V/Va and as your excellent rendition shows can be built up into a splendid model.
Nice one.

Welcome Sergio. That looks like a very nice model indeed, I would appreciate some more photos so we can get a closer look!
We also hope you will not be limited to just this WWI build :)

You've done an excellent job on the Albatros & figures Sergio
Alan.

Your D.751/17 turned out beautifully, Sergio! I've always liked the Otto Hunzinger scheme with that interesting wraparound take on his initials. More pics please!

Hello Brad - Sorry for only replying now, but I had a vacation and didn't take my PC with me.
Thanks for your comment and I'll post more photos of the model!
As soon as possible I hope to start Wingnut Wings - Sopwith Pup RNAS :)

Hi Sandy - thanks for your comment!
I like Albatros very much too. Too bad I couldn't get the decals I'd like to apply, in this scale... Nevertheless, I really enjoyed the whole process of building it!
Regarding the quality, I only have to mention the fragility of the supports that hold the upper wing, otherwise, I think it's an excellent price/quality ratio.

This was the 2nd plane I made from the First World War. The 1st was the Fokker E.II/E.III - from Eduard (1:48) more than 20 years ago!

Hi Dave - thanks for your comment!
I started modeling by making airplanes when I was 15, but my passion was always cars!
However, I've always been fascinated by WWI airplanes and the fact that my youngest son has shown an interest in building an airplane has given me the ?bug? to take up the models I have again!
My intention at the moment is to make only biplanes... and cars, too! :)
Best regards
Sergio

It is great to see this in more detail. I really like the subtle way you have done the rib tapes, lovely work.
