Title: SG-38 Schulgleiter - Special Hobby 1/48

Just finished an airplane!
This is the 11th in my collection of 1/48 sailplanes and gliders - an SG-38 primary trainer.  Most, if not all, WW2 Luftwaffe pilots had some time in one of these.  This was a very difficult kit due to the fragile nature of most of the parts.  I have scratchbuilt a number of details for a better end result.  Enjoy the pics...

I seem to remember a replica or something very similar being around when I was first introduced to gliding back in the 90's. Not sure I would have had a go . . . . :-\ ;D

Man oh man, I'd jump at the chance! Although I fear a weight loss regimen would be required first...

That's a bit different, very interesting subject and very nicely done indeed. I'm loving the woodwork in particular.
