Post by: Allan31 on November 30, 2024, 06:15:25 AM
What is the purpose of the red/wht - blu/wht interplane struts on the DH2?

Lack of fuselage meant difficulties in individual markings for recognition: a solution was to paint the struts in colours to mark the Flight (A, B, C), and different patterns for the individual. I think it was done on squadron level, i.e. no issued order, thereof only some had it.
