Hi all...
In December 2021 a friend of mine and fellow modeler made me an offer too good to refuse and so the WNW R.E.8 'Harry Tate' came into my possession. I'm pretty sure I started the build quite soon afterwards, but the first note I have of it is from May 2022. The next note is from May 2023 and it says 'Restart'. And finally, about a week ago, it was finally finished. Here are quite a few pictures of the finished build. Enjoy!

Thank for the R.E.8 walkaround, Fredrik! Now, let's see some images of your model. Seriously, though, that is one amazing build and detailed right down to the pulleys & wires on the scarff ring. You've certainly delivered a marvelous and inspiring replica with this project. Bravo!

Wonderfully executed, well done! I especially like the rigging, shading and the treatment of the exhausts. What is your technique for painting the exhausts?
Cheers!
