Thanks for these James, the detail they provide is very useful.
Best wishes

Great detail shots thanks!!
Steve

Thanks James for the brilliant photos, they will certainly help anyone who is building this kit. She will be a magnificent sight in the air and will fit in extremely well with the other TVAL aircraft, any idea when completion date will be.

It has been around three months since The Memorial Flight posted their last update on the LVG C.VI and I had begun to wonder what was happening. Now they have uploaded some more photos on their website:
http://memorial.flight.free.fr/indexuk.html
"The aircraft is now back on its landing gear. The wings are now installed as you can see and final rigging cables are being finished. Water pipes were installed as well. The cowlings are also in progress. We are also offering you a photoscope of one of the seat belt, replicating the original one of course. Finally, we are currently filling the aircraft with water, oil and fuel. Next step : first engine run !"

Thanks Jamo, that hits the spot! :D
Dittos, THANKS !

I wonder who the source is for their lozenge--it looks very much like what's on the TVAL Albatros D.Vas.
Cheers, Lyle
-
Probably it comes from TVAL. BTW, have you spotted the Albatros fuselage in the pictures?
-
there are two, Alb fuselages
-
Rob & James, thanks so much for the photos. They are a great
reference source.
Cheers,
Ernie :)
-
there are two, Alb fuselages
Hi Dr 1 Ace,
I can see them now! ;D I didn't know that they had Albatroses! Does anyone know which model they are? In one of the photos at least one of the fuselages looks like a D.V or a D.Va, but in the other photos I can't identify the model.
Regards,
David.
-
When are they going to run the engine on the LVg?
-
Looks fairly soon now for the engine run:

:) thanks Jamo, it looks fantastic.
Hope they will put a clip on youtube as Kermit did with his Snipe.
Wonder what colour to paint that fuselage for the WNW model?

Gene DeMarco was over there recently but the LVG wasn't quite ready for a test flight. It won't be too much longer . . .

Thanks James, it looks like she is ready to rock and roll, won't be long now before she lands in her new home.
