Title: Mercedes DIIIa Question
Post by: Jim52 on February 15, 2013, 11:49:49 PM
Does anyone happen to know for sure what the section profile of
the ribs on the bottom of the engine looks like? Is it more like "A" or "B"
in the sketch below? A photo would be a great help.

Does this photo help? It is an original Mercedes DIIIa fitted to the first Albatros DVa reoproduction from TVAL

Cheers

Jamo,
That's exactly what I was looking for! Nothing but the normal
draft that you'd expect on any casting. Thanks! I had a hunch that
you'd be the one with a photo!
