Here is my current build, after large scale, the time has come for 72nd scale. I am so happy Lukgraph decided to release their newest models in 72nd scale. It is a Polish trainer aircraft from 1930s, which I like very much because it is a biplane!
I was already busy with removing the 3D printed elements from the trees, polishing the print traces, priming with One Shot primer. It looks like a pleasant side project.

Looking forward to this one, as I do all your builds! It looks to be a beautiful little kit and I'm sure you'll work your usual magic on it.

PS - Is that a J-5 Whirlwind, or do my eyes deceive me?
-
Best of luck with this one. I am sure you will overcome any challenges.....
-
oooo! 1/72 again! Do you have the kit with corrected struts and undercarriage?

Yes, it is, a licensed version from Polish Škoda factory.

Wow, nice engineering!

Cardboard rig used to fix the geometry of the lower wings. Liquid CA glue poured into the seams.
Stabilisers were glued earlier and their seams are already filled and sanded.

I can't believe I haven't noticed this one before. As usual your turning it into another masterpiece.
Alan.

This is looking very nice (but no surprise there...... ;))
-
Thank you but we have to wait to see the final outcome....
The progress on this little is damn slow. But finally, some preparations for the shading.

Thank you, Nigel.
More progress.
First, wash is applied

Looks good and you're, as always, both doing a fine job and a fine presentation of it.
Is this a completely 3D-printed kit or are there cast elements as well? I've been drawn to Lukgraph's homepage a lot lately, but I'm a bit hesitant about the extra work connected to the 3D-printing technology.
/Fredrik
-
Lukgraph turns to pure 3D pribt, no more cast resin. New kits, including this one are made in this technique, they are replacing selected older kits, too.
My opinion is that 3D print is less cumbersome than cast resin. And also the detail is much finer here.
And in the meantime my PWS became a biplane 8)
