Title: Nieuport 17/ 23 Instrument question?
Post by: RAGIII on June 13, 2024, 02:18:19 AM
I ran across this photo of the Nieuport 16 flown by Albert Ball today. It has Me wondering if the British did something similar to the 17/23. All thoughts and WAGs are appreciated!

Rick,
I don't honestly know as I haven't found a good clear shot of the interior of an RFC/RNAS Nie.17/23. On my RFC build I just used the same instrumentation as I did on my French versions figuring no one can say I'm wrong, unless they come up with some kind of evidence otherwise.
