Hi all,
It's been a very long time since I posted anything here, but at long last I finished something with multiple wings again. This is from the Revell boxing of Eduard's kit. Built essentially how Eduard intended, but added some generic PE belts and of course riggin lines. These are just nylon thread. The only real issue I had/have with this kit is that the decals, while tough, don't adhere well, and so some of them started to slack after they had dried. I managed to fix most of the problem areas, but didn't notice the slack on the tail until after I had taken the photos. Oh well! Fun kit, and after several recent unsuccessful attempts to finish a biplane, it was the win that I needed.

you've got to love a model that lets you put cute little curtains in the windows. :)

A nice one all around. 48th scale, I assume.

Thank you for the kind comment. And yes, 1/48.

And a "win" it most certainly is! Lovely work, and thank you for sharing so many photos so we can truly appreciate it.

Welcome back to the world of wires and faux-finished wood... that's a truly beautiful job, I've always loved those aeroplanes.

That looks lovely, a nice job on a nice kit.

Superb model: the camouflage is not one which I know very well but it is very eye-catching.
It certainly boosts morale to finish a biplane - looking forward to you completing more.
Stephen.

Lovely work and I would not have noticed your decal issue had you not said.
