So, being a former New Englander, I know that I would be spending the weekend
down in the basement working away on one project or another. That is, after the snow
has been relocated! ::) How are the rest of you there in NE and Southern Canada making out?

Hi Jim! I'm in south central PA (Lancaster), and the storm pretty much missed us, just a bit of snow but the roads were dry today.
I saw your post, and remembered the 1/32 vac Fokker E.V/D.VIII you started several months back. Whatever happened with that one?
Regards,
Bob

We had a report on our TV news (Australia) last night covering the storm you guys are having, it looks pretty terrible, hope everyone over there are okay, take care guys.

Thanks for the local update, Bob. Now I don't have to call my sister to see how she's doing. ;)
Cheers,

I shoveled the driveway 6 times on Friday and again yesterday. I have a snow blower, but I like shoveling. I think I was dropped on my head as a baby.

Chris,
I think that novelty would "get old" real quick if your driveway was as long as this beast I deal with. On the other hand, did someone force me to live here?! (Yes. the Winter is getting to me.) Steve (Pepperman) told me in a PM he was still at work after 48 hours, you Folks must have really got the brunt of it! Keep shoveling, lots of hearty hot meals like chicken soup, and "be tough"!
Cheers,
Lance ::) ???

I don't mind snow or cold, I hate ice though and that's what we're getting today ... Turns our driveway into a 1/4 mile luge run ...

I finally left Friday night after the storm had pretty much passed. We had flights sitting on taxiways from 1630 until 2130 waiting for gates, computerized de icing facility failures resulting in a mere 8 a/c per hr de iced , lack of ground personnel for marshalling and towing, fun fun fun.......a couple of flts actually came on to the ramp (with no gate) just so they could hook up to the lav trucks to pump out the "full to the brim" toilets....I love winter......

Serously though I hope alls well with everyone caught up.

Yeh, none of that 1/4 mile driveway stuff for me. Mine is only 60' x 30' but when the snow comes fast and furious, it's enough to keep me busy. I like it for the exercise. Some tell me I'm pretty good at shoveling the s*** too! ;)
Cheers,
Chris

I lost power Friday night (on Cape Cod) and got it back Sunday night. Too cold to do any modelling - 43F in the house! We got about 18 inches to 2 feet of snow and at times the wind was so strong I couldn't see the tree 10 feet from the window!
All done now though, snow melting quickly but more forecast for this week....
At least I have power now and can get back to the models!

Bob,
Sorry for the delay in replying. My plastic modeling went on
hold last September when I went back to School. Just the 3D
stuff for the moment.
