The Fokker V-25 was one of many Fokker entries into the 1918 fighter trials. It was rejected for various reasons:
1. An inherent mistrust of low monoplane design and crash survivability.
2. Underpowered engine demonstrated no great improvement in climb or speed
3. Poorer downward vision especially during landing.
It was however very maneuverable and had unrestricted forward and upward vision.
It is my opinion that with a more powerful engine, the V-25 could have been a real match for any of the period allied designs.
I chose to depict my build as a factory fresh production model, had it been selected for mass production. Hope you like it!

Thanks for looking in!

Nice model.
Very modern looking aeroplane.
Apart from the tailplane, something of the Focke-Wulf about it!

My thoughts as well Sandy. Thank you.

Lovely work, and a nice "what if" scheme.

Very interesting subject and very nicely done. Thanks for sharing.

That's one purposeful-looking little aeroplane, Tim, sort of a next-gen Eindecker! And like I said before, I love "What If" models... now you've got me thinking of kitbashing one in 1:32.

The V-25 really looks like it could have been a successful fighter.
Very well done Tim!
-
A new type to me - obviously only a prototype - but still interesting. Superb model which is very well finished. And no rigging!

Great work Tim, I like it a lot! One of those intriguing "What If?" aircraft - had a different engine been made available...
-
Well this another one I've never heard of, so great to see something more unusual.
Excellent work!

Nice work Tim, love seeing prototypes and what if's!

Well, this is a small jewel indeed!

Really nice model of this "E.V/D.VIII" with the modeler in mind!
The repositioned wing allows much better view of cockpit and Spandaus!
Like the paint job on the plywood wing.

Lovely work Tim, I do like these esoteric subjects that you tackle. Reminds me of a 1/48 Fokker V.23 kit-bash I did maaaaany moons ago...

I've never heard of this one either. I agree it does look like a E.V with the wing lowered. Very unique model and a great job!
