Title: Wanted - spare decals for Roden Strutter
Post by: DaveB on December 03, 2023, 05:05:31 AM
Dear all,

I was kindly given as a gift (by a fellow WW1 modeller friend) Roden's new 1/32 Sopwith Strutter.

However, the kit did not include the clear plastic sheet or any decals.   I have sorted out the clear plastic sheet issue and have located some spare 32nd scale British roundals from my spares box.

I am just wondering if anybody here in the UK who has already built this one have any of the two kit marking options decals?

Obviously I am more than happy to pay for them and the postage.

Cheers, folks!

Regards

Dave

Hi Dave, two options come to mind if no one can help.

1) Aims makes roundels and can be purchased from Hannants

2) A more expensive but beautiful option are the sets by Aviattic.

Sorry I cannot help you out

Hey Dave, just seen your post.

I have a few bits and pieces left over from my 9407 build. None of the big roundels, but you said you've got them covered. I have the A995 serials and the B5 markings for the 70 Sqdn machine. Also the tail flashes and small roundels but these are not printed very well, poor colour and a little eccentric.

If you want these pm me your address details and I'll get them in the post to you.
