I needed an easier project after the Breguet 14B2.  Jasta 12 Fokker DR.1 of an unknown pilot. Decals from Pheon.

 I used acrylic clear doped linen and oil olive green.  Next time I will use bleached linen and a toned down green.

I had to add a little  detail to the engine but otherwise a good kit.

Well done, Rip! The personal marking on this crate belong to Lt.Viktor Schobinger,the same as on his Albatros DV...

 I thought so. I also have the decals for his Albatros now that I think of it.

Beautiful work, Jim, I'm happy to see all the research that's taken place on Dr.I schemes during my long hiatus from modeling. You picked a great one, and I have to echo everyone else, love that streaking!
