Roden Kit 635 - two-seater Sopwith LCT
I think this is an excellent kit, which was amazing value for money at the pre-order price of 40GBP, but still well worth the current cost around 60GBP. Others have criticized the decals but I found them perfectly acceptable and happily used them (although I only realised I'd used the white outlined upper wing markings by mistake too late to change!) The one thing I wish better is the engine cowling which lacks its distinctive annular ring and screw fixings. Apart from that everything is fine and offers the basis for a nice model of this important aircraft.
I had an OOP HiTech set of an RFC crew in 1/32 which I think complements the Sopwith well (I wish these HT figures were still available: I have a splendid Ernst Udet too.)
Anyway, here she is.

That looks very good indeed. As you write this was an important aircraft in its time and you have represented it very well indeed. The figures really do make an attractive and eye catching addition.

Nicely done all around Sandy, and as Prze has said the interest in this recent offering from Roden is great to see! What's next on your impressive production line?
Cheers,

Looking very good Sandy, I really like the cellon panels, they turned out really well. Definitely next in line for me to build, your thread will be very helpful.

Beautiful work. It’s nice to see there is still interest in WWI from these manufacturers. You have captured the essence of the Strutter very nicely.
