Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself to all the talented molders on this forum, and WOW, there are some amazing models! Long time model builder like most everyone one here on the forum and my modelling experiences are from plastic models to radio control of all types. WW1 aviation models have always been my favorite subjects to study and built, really enjoy the history of early aviation aircraft.

Welcome to the best forum on the Interweb, Butch, from the other side of the US. And yes, the caliber of workmanship is downright amazing, and the best thing is that nobody makes a secret of how they get their results... the amount you can learn here is nearly limitless!
All best,

Butch,
Welcome from the middle of California. As already mentioned, there is a good group of guys from the Washington area and some very good modellers. My only trip to Washington was in 1962 when the Space Needle was on its first coat of paint.
I am curious as the background of your profile photo. Some details for the curious among us. Not me, of course, others. Riiiiight.
Go to have you with us and we look forward to viewing your work.

Dennis,
Thank you for the welcome! If your refereeing to the image behind my mug, I grabbed that off the internet years ago and I don't remember were I found it.
I use it as a back ground on my blog site: https://thescalemodelhanger.blogspot.com/
