Title: Converting a Wingnut Albatros B to a C?
Post by: docdodj on October 25, 2023, 03:11:44 PM
As the subject implies, can it be done? I have the wingnut albatros B. From what I see the C had the same airframe generally, save for major changes (pilot/observer positions, engine, radiators) and possibly some minor ones I can't identify, yet.

I know there's the lukgraph kit, but have no immediate plans to get one.

Any advice is welcome

That depends on what Albatros C type you are planning to build. As far as I can remember the Albatros C. I is more similar to the B version than the C. III. The C. I shared the flying surfaces with the B, not so the C. III. And I doubt it’s the „same“ airframe, it will be quite an amount of work.
