This is the Eastern Express 1/72 Pfalz D.XII built as 2600/18, the aircraft displayed at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra.
I used the PART PE detail set as a template to create some of the cockpit details from sheet styrene (unfortunately, the distance I put the rudder pedals from the seat I'm afraid the pilot would have to be 7ft. tall to reach them). The fuselage scaled out a little short when placed against the Datafile schematic so I lengthened it a bit at the tail. Five color lozenge decals are from Old Propeller.

Thanks for taking a look...

This is gorgeous, Scott! I have a soft spot for modelling preserved aircraft and in this case you've excelled. Bravo!

Lovely work on a tiny Pfalz! Very nice detail work.

Cracking work on your, Pfalz!

Another difficult kit brought to high standard model! Congratulations!

Another beautifully built subject. I’ve always liked the Pfalz D-XII and feel it has not gotten the attention from other modelers it deserves. I have a few that I’ll get to someday…

Super model with excellent interior details. I could easily be led to believe that it is in a much larger scale.
