No, the title is not a typo. This is my recently completed Pfalz D.III which has been converted from the WNW D.IIIa kit. I opted for this route as the quality/detail is obviously much better than the old Roden kit.
KLP Publishing have also released my Pfalz D.IIIa build guide in an eBook format which describes how I converted this plane (along with 2 other D.IIIa builds) and is available here - https://www.klp.com.au/product/building-the-wingnut-wings-pfalz-d-iiia-in-1-32-scale/

Beautiful, Gary! May I add „as always“?

I followed this one on FB but it is great to see the results posted here. A Beautiful Pfalz and nice to see the rare camo colors. Gorgeous "as Always" 8)

Very nice!

Love the Pfalz and I'd earmarked the same scheme for the Roden DIII (1/72) that I have on the shelf
Great work Gary

That really is good and what a clever conversion - you would never know by first glance either.

I agree with Dave and the others - a superb conversion and not one which is immediately obvious. First class modelling in every way.

Now that’s just beautiful! Impressive conversion backdating to the D.III. I very much like the plain scheme you chose representing the every day workhorse. Such a graceful design.
All the best,
Tim
