After years of enjoyment viewing other people's models on this forum, I figured it was time for me to give a little pay back by contributing something in addition to my monetary donations. So here are some photos that I recently took of a WNW RE.8 1/32 model that I had completed about a year ago.
As you can see, there is a lot going on with this aircraft. Which is why it became one of my favorite models after assembling it.

I especially like the fact that the cockpit and instrument panel are completely visible. So, all that detail work is on full display and not hidden from view as it is with the Salmson 2-A2. :(

Here is view of another feature of this aircraft that I find appealing and that is the upper wing ends extended way past the lower wing.

The front is a little unconventional, but it just adds to its unique characteristics.

One thing of note about the building of this model is that it was completely brush painted. Which is what I do on most of my WWI models as I get better results than if I spray paint.

Beautiful model. Absolute beezer! 😊
I love how my eye is drawn to the exquisite instrument panel.
You don't see so many of these built these days, probably as their value goes up, but this one should encourage everybody to get one built.

Gorgeous Harry Tate. Always a great looking aircraft IMO even if the schemes are not as eye-catching as others you've got to love the quirky design features. Lovely paintwork t'boot. In fact what's not to like?

The slightly quirky lines of the Harry Tate are what makes it so appealing IMO. The finish on the model is excellent and the rigging equally so. The super detail really captures the character of this iconic type.
