Fokker D.VII question:

I realise the ‘F’ had the BMW D.IIIa engine, are there any other differences airframe wise to the other D.VII variants? WNWs say a few D.IIIa’s were in the other D.VIIs, so could you use another non F colour scheme on an F boxing without it being too ‘wrong’?
