I built this one some years ago but didn’t get very good images. Sorry no link to the build log due to Imgur images not available.
As you can see, I do occasionally stray from 1/72 builds.

Lovely job Tim
(I picked up an old F2b vacform at the weekend strangely enough. Nice original boxing for the princely sum of £2.00 - I were right proper delighted) ;D

That's another brilliant job Tim.
Blue Max kits are hard and it is some feat just to build one let alone finish it to this standard.

Wow that’s a great find Paul. I really need to build one in1/72 for my collection.

What great work !

Spectacular model. And it revives my dream about 32nd scale model of this aircraft.
-
Great model! Really lovely done.

Man, Tim! I'm glad you strayed.
Magnificent!

I'm with Dan - what a beauty! I've long desired a Gunbus and this only reinforces my desire.
-
Another beauty, just a shame about the scale 🤣
I have the Pegasus one on the bench awaiting its turn.
Ian

Wow! You really gave that kit an upgrade!!
Steve

Beautifully built and presented - many thanks, I have the kit and this is a powerful nudge for me :)
Mark

Tim that is really fantastic, your painting and weathering skills are top notch. It looks incredibly realistic

That's really very nice, and I can't believe that's a Blue Max kit.

excellent work - - bravo

A real aeroplane! Wrong scale but never mind - still an excellent model. I have made two of these in different scales and have a very soft spot for the type.

Well done !

Tim,
I agree with Prze on both counts. One of the few I believe would have sold like the proverbial disappearing hot cakes had Wingnut Wings released it. Your model is a beauty, great scheme and hard to believe it isn't in a larger scale.
Cheers,
Lance

Not sure how I missed this.
Stunning job as usual, love your CDL effect.

Great build! I’ve got one of these stashed away. Did you make the wings thinner? My parts seem thicker.

No sir, I don’t believe I did anything to thin the wings. I did sand the metal struts down a little to thin their profile.
Thank you,
Tim

Tim
Thanks for the reply.

That is just incredible work! Sorry for the Very Late Comment! One of the Few Pushers I would be Tempted to do in 1/32nd scale!

You really did an outstanding job on this, so glad you strayed into 1/48 scale but now, thanks to your build, I am needing the BlueMax Vickers in 1.48 scale...humph...
-
Tim,
Excellent build. I have never built any of the Blue Max kits as I didn't want to stray from 1/72. But I love the scale as you can add detail with the same convincing manner. Very nice model.

That’s a stunning looking plane - an absolute maze of wires! I’ve always wanted to build one but am afraid of all that delicate rigging! Well done!
