Here we go again....
A lovely build. Decals great again, but I goofed slightly and put the snake about 13mm too far back. Moving it was not possible. It still fitted very well, but doesn't match photos having the tail of the snake overlapping the serial. I had a slight blip whilst setting it and attempted a patch which hasn't matched too well, so it has a bullet strike roundel over it!
I have tried to show the buffed up rib tapes, using a mastercasters polishing stick, but silver doesn't demonstrate it well in the photos in this light. It looks good in daylight.

Nice looking bird and Im catching the effect of the silver polishing method you mentioned.

I can see the rib effect pretty clearly, as well, Dave. Looks great. The snake looks fine the way it is. In my opinion, there are no better decals on the planet than Pheon. However, unless you flood the area with water first, they will stick right where you put them.
Cheers,
Bud

Great colour scheme, Dave, and the Silbergrau looks perfect. I believe the highlites/shading would be very much less pronounced on a silver finish such as this and you've hit it bang on. Nice looking Bird and you are doing a great job on it.
Cheers,
Lance

Excellent, Dave!
There must be something about model building - I never seem to be able to get a kit together without some 'goof' along the way - does anybody manage a build where all goes perfect?
As regards the decal - who would really notice anyway - nobody will ever know if you don't say!!
Regards
Dave
