I wanted to share a few photos of a 1/35 Copper State Models Lanchester Armoured Car that I've just finished. The model sat in my stash for a while, but CSM recently released a set of 3D printed wheels which gave the model a real lift in realistic detail. I built up some of their resin crew for the final display.
Cheers,
Gary

The weathering and finish is just fantastic, even the mud on the wheel arches and lower parts.

You did it again Gary...
Those figures look so realistic, they could start the car and take off in it!

Great results on the car and crew. What colour(s) did you use for the car grey?

I'm not much of a ground pounder nut myself, but these results are simply outstanding, Gary. Your figure painting makes too is exceptional.

First off, thanks to all for your very kind words on the model - I’m truly humbled.
Great results on the car and crew. What colour(s) did you use for the car grey?

Thanks Steve, the short answer to your question is Tamiya XF-83 RAF Medium Sea Grey 2. The instructions call for Admiralty Light Grey (whatever that is), so I first pre-shaded the whole model in Black, then built up colour using the thinned XF-83. I lightened the colour for the final applications with a touch of white.
Cheers,
Gary

Must keep my eye open for the kit and crew this year at model shows . . . . 8)
