Post by: Allan31 on December 26, 2022, 02:41:06 AM
Can someone please tell me or point me in the right direction as to the colors and pattern for these epaulets?

The epaulettes should be silvergrey, silvergrey button, with two golden stars (Rittmeister) and yellow piping (ulans).
I don’t know if these boots were regularly issued officer boots — I doubt it. So anything from black to darker brown should be fine. All leather equipment was reddish brown at the outbreak of war but had to be blackened from 1915 onwards.
